American Idol 2011 auditions events announced. The six American Idol 2011 audition cities have been announced and the auditions will run from July 17th until August 19th. Once again, aspiring singers will have the opportunity to audition in cities across US to become the next American Idol as the No. 1 show on television begins auditions in under a month!

In connection to this, American Idol will lower the minimum age to be eligible for the auditions for Season 10. For the first time, American Idol is allowing 15-year-olds to audition from the minimum age of 16.
