Who are the contestants on Survivor Redemption Island (aka Survivor 22)? “Survivor: Redemption Island” reveals the new 16 contestants earlier this week just before the game is started. The are 18 cast this season, but the two were just announced on Monday. The twenty-second season of the CBS competitive reality television series Survivor is scheduled to premiere on February 16, 2011 at 8/7c on CBS.
The season was filmed in the vicinity of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the same place where the previous season was filmed. There are new rules in the “Redemption Island” season. The voted off castaway would not immediately go home but is banished to redemption island where they live alone, wait until the next one is voted off. hen these castaways would duel for a slot back in the game. The winner of the season would be awarded $1 million prize.
